Welsh inspired 'Afternoon Tea' delights at the bay

"We invite you to 'get comfortable...'

Future Inns Hotel, Cardiff Bay, are excited to share with us their welsh themed Afternoon Tea full of their highly popular delights. It can now be shared in their "Thomas" restaurant, and for a limited time only (until 30 April), they're offering a discount code.

This month I was invited along to their first official bloggers evening, where I had the opportunity to meet and greet with other like-minded bloggers, welsh brands and the wonderful staff at Future Inns whilst indulging my taste buds in the process.

Throughout the evening we had the pleasure of enjoying a glass of bubbly, while very "seriously" debating on whether jam or cream goes first on scones.  It was quickly apparent from the many 'uums and ahhs'  chorusing around the room that the Afternoon Tea was bursting with our favourite treats .

This particular Welsh inspired Afternoon Tea also goes hand in hand with so many wonderful attractions right on the doorstep.

The bay in Cardiff offers so many things to do that after a slice, or two, of cake you're going to want to walk it off and see some local sights, and there are more than enough to keep you entertained here,  no matter what day of the week it is.

There is the Norwegian Church where Roald Dahl worshipped when he was a child, the Doctor Who Experience which recently regenerated, the magnificant Wales Millenium Centre (you could even catch a show) or take a walk out to the barrage to see some beautiful views.

It was a great opportunity not only to see some familiar faces, but to network with others who have similar passions to what I have. For anyone who is thinking this is somewhere to try but think Cardiff is a little too far to go, fear not, there are Future Inns located in Bristol and Plymouth also.

The Future Inns Afternoon Tea also offers unlimited servings of tea and coffee along with a yummy selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones for the fabulous price of just £12, served daily between 1pm - 5pm. Now, as mentioned before, they're also offering a 10% off discount code when you check out before Tuesday April 30. All you need to do is use the code "BREW" when booking online here.

Do you have a favourite place you like to go for Afternoon Tea?

With love, Alys

*I was gifted this Afternoon Tea experience by Future Inns Cardiff. I was not asked to promote or write a blog post, although I was supplied with a gift code for people to use if they would like a discount. Photography is my own.

  1. There’s nothing better than homemade cakes! I am still saying that clotted cream goes on the scone first, then the jam...
