Update on life

When life get's tough, what do we do. Well this all really depends on the individual. When you have a decision to make, do you take the easy option or do you fight for the change you need?

Recently I've found myself having to make changes in life, some for the good and some for simply having to make them. I spent far too many years focusing on the past and not enough looking forward. What kind of person do you see yourself as? Do you focus on the past, present of future?

You may be wondering what on earth my point is, and if I'm honest I'm not entirely sure. I sometimes think to myself how simple life would be if we had all the things we wanted and do we do all the things we wished we could? Do you take the last piece of chocolate? Do you jump on the last available flight at the airport because you want to explore the world? Do you jump in the car and drive simply because you know you can?

How often in life do we really step out of our comfort zones? All these questions are things I've been asking myself recently.

I'm gradually making changes in my life, are you?

So to whom this may concern, I wish you all the best in the world. I hope you treasure every single day and do everything you can to make sure your happiness is put first. If that means spending all day in bed reading a book you have already read three times before (yes that is exactly how I spent my Easter Sunday) then so be it because you are the important one. So reflect and put yourself first, before it's to late.

To explain my large gap in my writing, it all comes down to a whole series of things that have been happening in my life. I had to say goodbye to something very close to me as well as dealing with a lot of changes going on. Now that it is all settling down I'm ready to move forward and take some new steps in life.

To keep you up to date on what's being in recently, here's a few just for you:

1. I've moved house which means my life has literally been turned upside down, sideways and all that in-between. They say it is one of the most stressful experiences you have and they weren't wrong. Even though this wasn't my first move it was still as stressful as all the others.

2. I went to a Wedding which involved being on the road visiting family and friends for a week.

3. As a lot of you may already know one of my favourite to do is read and it feels like all I'm doing these days is juggling my social life with reading my next book. There's just simply not enough hours in the day!

4. Last but not least I found myself struggling to find inspiration on what I truly wanted to write about. My blog initially started off because I kept doing mini reviews on my Twitter to which I eventually created my blog, but I  still lack inspiration even  after trying new products. It may be time to mix things up a bit on my blog.

As always, until next time.

I really want to start vlogging too but I've just been stuck with Instagram stories!

Congrats on your new house move too, that would definitely make a great starting vlog ;)
